Sushi is alright, food is good prices are good and it's a great place to grab a bite.
I have eaten here several times .. the service used to be slightly distant but it's warm and welcoming now.. also quick to take order and deliver exceptional tasting and well appointed selections .. I took a picture of my plate unfortunately I ate the food so fast I didn't get a "pre" photo only a "post" photo .. the food is delicious with a very large and unique selection. I get the fantastic roll which has warm lobster in its center with soy bean paper wraps. Also sashimi and sushi - salmon and yellow tail are nice thick healthy cuts of fish. Highly recommend !!

They have a huge menu with a variety of Japanese, Thai, and a few Chinese-style dishes, and they do everything well. They also have a good selection of vegetarian dishes. From bento to sushi to curry, I've never been disappointed with anything here. The portions are very good also. I order something new every time because there's so much to try, but I really like getting the bento since you get a nice variety of food to try, and their seafood salad is also very tasty. I haven't dined in in a while, but from what I recall the inside has nice ambiance and the food is plated nicely. It is pretty dim inside though. On occasion I've found the staff to be flighty or unhelpful, but I have no other complaints with them.
As a 90 years old retired Prof, I have had Thai food in 25 countries. In my judgment this place deserves a 5 star rating due to: (1) Perfect charming dignified compassionate service; (2) modest, peaceful ambiance, and (3) super dishes galore, such as the :Curries {{Green, Red, Yellows); basil and chicken, Shrimp mango, avocado Salad; (4) Online ordering and customer friendly Lady Manager. and (5) Most reasonable prices, e.g., we ordered 9 dishes, one appetizer, 3 drinks, one salad and two desserts -with Tax and a 20% tip (well deserved) the sum was about $150,00- 1/4 of the price of the same quality food in NYC, Boston, or LA. I am concerned and hope they make a profit to sustain this jewel of the triple City. Please please, visit to save this Gem -will bring tourists to our city- essential for our economy! I did not try their wonderful Sushi/ Japanese rolls menu) nor their spicy crisp fish, nor ,any soups and appetizers- but they sounded great. May I recommend that you do not order (a) Thai Cold Coffee (too sugary) nor (b) awful sugary desserts- pure sugar and fat. Once again, please please visit Fushimi as often as you can! PM
